Moringa

Moringa, a nutrient-dense superfood is called the "Tree of Life," for a very good reason.  It is the most anti-oxidant of the anti-oxidant foods and has been used medicinally for 4,000 years.

It is originally native to India, but is now cultivated all over the world in tropical regions and is available at most health food stores or online.  You can purchase it as an oil, typically from the seeds or powder derived from the dried leaves.

I prefer to use the powder.  I haven't tried the oil yet, but I've made an moringa infused oil using the powder and various oils.  I put moringa in smoothies and juices that I drink every day.  When I first started taking it I noticed some benefits right away.  My hair was shinier and seemed stronger, i.e. less breakage, which any curly girl can relate to.  My skin was also glowing, and my nails were shiny, strong and growing like crazy.

The health benefits of moringa are amazing.  Here are a few examples: Treat diabetes, high iron content to treat anemia, protect the liver and cleanse the body, anti-cancer properties, It is nutrient dense, full of protein, essential amino acids, and antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and of course it is great for skin and hair.

Moringa is another ingredient that I could go on and on about.  A google search will reveal a multitude of websites touting the amazing benefits of using moringa topically and internally.  It is definitely worth trying yourself.
